Description something i whipped up for fun over Thanksgiving holiday. this was a test actually where I painted the whole thing in black and white, then colorized it. I think I got better depth doing it this way and it actually made the process much easier. This is probably what I'll start doing for commissions as well

The artwork is great but what impressed me is how realistic you made the metallic shine on the sword and bracer look. I'm probably not well versed enough to know how difficult the rest of the piece is but I'm well aware how difficult that is. Awesome.

I've often read of artists painting in black and white then editing the color in. I've never tried it myself but I've always liked the idea of it. I may just have to try it myself sometimes.

very nice! I've seen some artists go by the black and white then colorize process, but it often gave faded colors. In your case all seems fine though with your usual vibrant colors! So go for whatever makes it easier for you! (by the way, the complex reflections in the metal is to die for! *falls over* I guess that the day you'll stop improving will never come.. lol! ;D )

well, in an overall i think you made more interesting artworks of course, but even in the 'relax' art you do like this one, the realistic details and lighting render of your paintings continue to improve all the time!!!
