the kanji is 'Akaitsuki'
i am really bad in japanese.
Akai mean 'red'
Tsuki mean 'moon'

i think red moon is 'Akatsuki'
without use 'i'

Actually "Aka" means red in Japanese, "tsuki" does mean moon. When, you combine them the "i" is included then! But you are right! Akaitsuki does mean "red moon" so your Japanese is not bad actually! But great work! I'm a heavy lover of Japanese language and culture, and so is my close friend!

Cheers for the original character. I love the contrast between the armor and the pants/shoes. And yes, I think Akatsuki sounds better as a name, but it means "dawn", rather than "red moon".

It depends on usage, I believe. For example, you would use 赤月 if it is in reference to a name. Same like 黒姫 or 黒猫 for example.
Saying 赤い月 implies that her sash is actually a red moon, or something Also, be careful: you added a third horizontal stroke to 月 that shouldn't be there.

...sorry, after all that Japanese lesson I think you did a great job with the painting, the armour especially is really well rendered. Great work!
