My primary PC from the current iteration of City of Heroes.Born September 11, 2001, Serena Steele's life began in tragedy, losing her father in the World Trade Center attacks and her mother to childbirth complications. Serena became an orphan on the day she was born. Raised in foster homes, group homes, juvenile detention centers and the streets, Serena nearly lost her life at age 18 when she was assaulted and almost gang raped, but was rescued in time by an unknown superhero, igniting a transformation. Fueled by gratitude and a determination to shape her destiny, Serena became a scrapper - a street justice vigilante. Now known as "Steel Serenade," she safeguards Paragon City, pursuing justice using her own moral compass. Often bypassing the law, she relies on personal judgment and gut instinct to do what she thinks is Right. Embodying resilience born from a turbulent past, Serena's journey is a testament to the human spirit as she navigates the delicate balance between what's right and what's legal, between righteousness and law.
