I like it when Astartes have normal, unaugmented human friends. Especially if said human friends can kick ass right along with them.

I love any addition of a touch of humanity to Space Marines.
Also beautiful picture.

Beautiful work as always, but... I believe I've read some short story where entire Lamenters chapter was completely wiped after landing on the tyranid-infested planet in desperate attempt to save those people remaining on the planet's surface to give them another chance to evacuate or something like that. Is that so? Or that was just one Lamenters company? I've read that story long time ago and don't recall it very well, so I can be wrong here...

Lamenters lore is rather contradictory, sadly. Wiped out or not, black rage yes or no or maybe, Chapter master dead/lost or very alive...
Since Aition joined the Deathwatch when the rest of his Chapter was sent off on their penitential crusade, he may very well be one of the last Lamenters alive. I personally believe them to be at very low numbers and currently missing, but it's only one of many possible theories.

Very true. Could you suggest me to read something about him, cause I never heard about him before. I really like stories about Deathwatch, all that flavor of secrecy, cool stuff they have and others don't (except even more secret and having even cooler stuff Grey Knights, although I find those guys quite boring and too much focused on just one thing which is slaying deamons of course), very different marines from different chapters working together and sometimes having conflict of philosophies... However, most of the stories about Deathwatch I've read before aren't really of a good quality.
As for complete wipe of entire chapter, I had a bit of thinking on it and came to a conclusion that it is actually highly unlikely. I mean, it is only possible if somebody had attacked their home planet and they had to defend it and ultimately failed. Because in case of chapter experiencing devastating casualties during offensive operation, there is still a small garrison of marines remaining on home planet defending their citadel where chapter's reliquary and geneseed supply are stored. However, after such colossal casualties the chapter is usually considered to be impossible to restore and being disbanded; remaining marines and geneseeds are distributed between other chapters as reinforcements, just as it happened to Astral Knights after their last assault of the world engine.

I'm not surprised you haven't heard about Aition, since he's not in the least an official figure - he's just my Deathwatch character I wrote a short introduction story about him a while ago, set right before his departure to the Deathwatch, but I only write on an amateur (and non-native speaker) level. You can find it here if you want to give it a try nevertheless: helixapothecari.deviantart.com…
It's a pity that many Deathwatch stories seem to be subpar. The organisation itself offers so much potential - not only conflicting tactics and philosophies, but also Astartes having to deal with a mostly "human" Ordo, unusual missions that might require them to act contrary to their convictions... I'm still working my way through the 40k novels since I'm rather new to the universe, but if you know any good Deathwatch stories, feel free to recommend them! I read the eponymous novel, which felt a bit like my own RPG group, just with an even bigger lack of cooperation
In the case of the Lamenters, it's sadly a bit easier to wipe out the whole Chapter. Depending on which sources one trusts, they were probably down to slightly more than 300 Marines after the Badab War, and they're a fleet-based Chapter with their mobile Fortress-monastery, the Warp Barque "Mater Lachrymarum". Seeing as they were sent on their crusade after the war, they'll probably stay on the Mater or in its vicinity, as they neither have a home world nor enough Battle-brothers left to defend it. (In addition, they wouldn't have been allowed to stay behind anyway.) Some sources say they ran right into a hive fleet and were wiped out, while others list them as merely missing. The latter wouldn't be the first time the whole Chapter just disappeared for a few decades, so it doesn't have to mean anything Honestly, the official sources contradict each other so strongly that it's impossible to say what their status is right now. (The huge amount of incongruous fluff surrounding them might be my #1 pet peeve...)

There are a few stragglers. At least in FFG fluff. And despite being under 300 it is really hard to Compleeeetly wipe out any space marine chapter that still seconds their men off to deathwatch.
