I would be proud of this too. The composition and framing is very nicely done. The background is beautiful and helps accent the leaf.
Normally retro filters and coloring are overdone and badly misplaced on a lot of photo's across DA, but this isn't one of them.
In fact, it fits very nicely. Leaves are in a way symbols of time, with how they change, fall and regrow. So to have captured this, with a nice yellow tint along the really awesomely formed snow is wonderful and fitting in every regard.
Lastly the details and complimenting pattern of the background does keep your eyes focused on the picture, which is what makes a picture, into artwork. Visual interest, and I believe you have done just so

unfortunately i had to have a tooth extracted .it went well .do you own the horses if you do ? what are there names and what kind are they ? my family have 4 horses there kept up in the catskills .up state NY.

and the other is Barbie, she is also a registered paint. :]
