This delightful display of winter was presented to me in 2017, one of the last lovely and enduring winters in southern Bavaria I remember having had.I just finished shooting a fantastic sunset and was about to start driving home and then I saw the magical blue hour light glowing on the landscape, then I had to get out my camera again to capture this scene.
For me winter is the most difficult to capture season as the conditions can change so rapidly, for example it took only 2 days of warm weather and rain to melt away 5cm of fresh snow. Therefore I really appreciate when I am able to witness and capture those moments of pure winter atmosphere when everything comes together
