finally I draw my little steampunk girl.... I love her design but never submit on DA //forever on sketchbook laff

this is entry for contest: Master and Apprentice FIRST TASTE DOUBLE-THEME ART CONTEST - $340 + Art

Story:

Arrived in the town, after the long journey we’ve been through we immediately looking for information, hear stories of local people, it would always been fun for me to hear all different stories, especially for a little 12 year old girl who’s been working with clockwork helping her father doing his job in that tight place. It’s not like I hate helping father, but I always think that I don’t want to be secluded in that place… I need to see the world, see what happens out there, those stories, those creation, all these things I never imagined before I want to see it. This is all my inspiration. Meeting with this beautiful person with a white hair was a really fun experience for me. I don’t really know much about her. She always bring revolver pistol and sword and her name is Master Cale, but other than that, she’s really mysterious for me, her age, what she likes, why she works and travel the world. I know nothing about it. But she looks like a kind person and with the fact that I’m still young and inexperienced and yet she still help me, so Edith totally doesn’t have anything to complain for, Edith really like master Cale~.

“Master Cale, this uncle invited us to spend the night at his place~” Going for a journey with master Cale help me with my social skill, and it’s always fun to see that there’s a kind people who would like to help a stranger like this. This uncle name is Gregory. He looks so wise and handsome for his age. As he invited us and we walk down the corridor, uncle Gregory lead us to his workplace. “It’s a little bit messy, but please make yourself comfortable here” he really has a warm smile. I couldn’t help but give a bigger smile to him “thank you, uncle” He opened this one door. Turns out he is an inventor, his workplace is really messy but it seems so magical in here, there are many things he created in here, I can see his invention around the place, a weird tube I don’t know nothing about, antiquities and tons of book I never heard of. I was busy examining the place while master Cale have a little chat with uncle Gregory. Soon I saw uncle close the door and master Cale sit on the floor as comfortable as she can and open a book. It’s her journal where she writes about her journey. I wonder if she will write about this place and the culture or maybe she writes about uncle Gregory and his invention. I can’t help but feel happy as I look at her back when she starts writing. ‘oh ya~ Edith could study using all this book but I should help master cale and uncle Gregory! For starter Edith will tidy up this place!!’ she boost herself with tremendous energy and piled up all the book lying on the floor. She lift the book in her small arm and turns out she couldn’t see what’s in front of her. Try to keep her balance, she walks slowly. “waaaaa—“ she couldn’t see and ends up tripping and the book fall and she messed up this place even more. Edith still has a long way to go as Cale’s apprentice.
