Lined paper. Gets you every time. Also, the one tree to the right of the ruin looks like a backbone.

Such a fan of your values, and crisp details. Β What kind of pencils are you using? Β Cause this seems way too dark for an average HB pencil. Β Must be at least 2b or darker?

I'm using only mech pencil with Steadler o.5 mm 2B cores on everything. Steadler is superior to others in terms of quality of values. Their 2B cores can stand off to other's 4B and even 6B pencils depending on quality of the paper.

Haha wow simple, portable, and very effective. Β I use General's (not the greatest quality) and the darkest parts could pass for a 6B definitely. Β For that single pencil you use I'd probably need two pencils and a sharpener lol. Β Thanks!
