hehe, insta-faving! i love the line work here - very definate, and the shadowing below really works! it makes the whole image much more definate, something that can be hard with just black and white inks! if i had to make any criticism, it'd be really silly - those snakes are just so cute!!! ^^

So I'm guessing you've played FF2?
Don't you think such a revolutionary game deserves more credit than it gets? The only real reason people don't like it is cuz of the levelling system.

yeah - it certainly introduced a lot of aspects to the gameplay that have stayed with the FF games. the levelling system worked ok if you knew how to use it, i think... though i see why it was a let down for some players.
personally, i really liked the story too! some of the later ones haven't engaged me in quite the same way...
