Some practice work with ZBrush using a couple of my favorite Pokemon, along with some digital paintings made from PSD exports.

The Koffing model was easy enough; making a character out of a sphere is super easy when the character IS just a sphere!

The Golbat model was obviously far more complicated than the Koffing one; it's made out of seven subtool shapes (Koffing, by contrast, was made of three spheres) which I tried my best to blend together to look mostly natural. I'm still having issues with the model becoming too polygonal (Dynamesh will only work so many wonders), but hopefully more practice will cure that.
