Another pet portrait, this one was as originally going to be a Christmas gift for the client’s mother. However it was only commissioned 3 days before Christmas, so had to wait until January.
The dog had passed away several years ago, and the only photos the client was able to provide where scanned copy’s of faded photographs. Working closely with the client we were able to get higher quality scans of the photos, and use other springers as reference to pin down what colour he should be.
Despite the difficulties with the reference photo the client (and her mother) where over the moon with the finished image, and want to take me on to do the same again with a few of their other past dogs.
