hehe, but I guess you still have many wild animals over there.. here in Switzerland there are about 2 different kinds of wild animals bigger than a mouse

nice lol. True though we have a lot of deer around my house. A few fox and I hear coyotes a lot but never really see them

Saw a herd of elk once... and I hope to get to Sand Wash Basin here in CO soon so I can photograph the mustangs there.

There are actually wild horses in the US??

a lot actually. some run on land managed by the Bureau of Land management and others are just in what they called herd areas where they aren't rounded up yearly to manage the numbers but they arent really protected there either. almost 37,000 in the U.S according to ( [link] )

I want to make a trip to Sand wash Basin where there's about 315 there now. One of the more photographed area for mustangs in CO so its my best chance of getting some good photos.

There are wild burros too just less of them.

That's very nice that you still got some "wilderness" left. Here in Switzerland there's no place from where you can't see a village, a road, etc ...

So there isn't really much room to go and see wild animals

that stinks. Its being taken over a bit here too. My view of the mountains on most days is messed up by the brown pollution cloud from Denver :/

but we do still have a few places around that there's open space. And there's the national parks that will hopefully guarantee that there will always be some open space. Though the parks are usually full of people lol

yeah.. and the fun thing about those little guys is, that they're the most easy animals to take pictures of... the almost never move
