I totally am digging the design for him here.
The long cap borrows from some from the "Link" play book, but when you think about it, the two hats are similar.
His cap is tattered and shit, instead of looking like a bib.
I like the chain what holds said cape together.
That's hair, not his nose? ZOMGWHATACONCEPT.
He's wearing PANTS now. Just because you're a mysterious being from the heavens doesn't mean you can parade around without pants.
That cannon looks awesome, in my humble opinion. I can just imagine his arm morphing into that thing.
...Wait, didn't Geno himself morph into a cannon? OH, HOLY SHIT, THAT'D BE FUN TO DRAW.

I hope they release this game for the Wii's virtual console... I used to play it on my old SNES... Geno was a must in my party (Mario, Peach and Geno)

one: Super Mario RPG:Legend of the seven stars, for the SNES released on 5/13/1996, and it was developed by square soft with a special boss appearance that reffers to older squaresoft games.
