yeah it does remind me of a cicada now that you mention it. I think I might have had a couple cicada references around while I was working. The majority of the body plan was influenced by lobsters.

I've been drawing for a long time. I honestly cant remember when I started. I was really young. I began to take it seriously during the end of my sophmore year in high school, that's also when I started working digitally.

your aliens are becoming quite realistic!
None of them are ridiculously designed, you actually think about they're lifestyle/special details, and you make them as if they were real living organisms! Might I say again, your paintings are amazing, and your aliens are really improving in realism.
