Gem Location: Near her right wrist

Appearance: A short gem (4’6ft) with dull green skin covered in freckles. (Even her hair and eyes have freckles.) Her hair is dark green, and is tied back with a striped bandanna. She wears an entirely black jumpsuit, with a little jacket over the top. She gets mistaken for a male (or gem that uses male pronouns) sometimes, but she doesn’t really care enough to correct them. Ok maybe she cares… but she still doesn’t correct. She hates it when gems think she uses he/him just because of how she appears.
Weapon: Her hoverboard makes an nice shield for defense, and she could hit someone over the head with it. But it is mostly used for transportation and reaching things.
Unique Abilities: She is extremely good at mimicking voices, and she practices shapeshifting often. This talent is used for prank calls and basic mockery. Also is pretty great at karaoke. And surprisingly is an effective motivational speaker.
Synchronizing Style/Fusion Dance: Never fused before but... Line dancing. Cupid Shuffle. And she likes any kind of upbeat music.
Special Power: Knowledge is power.
Personality: Amby has a high intelligence, her mind is like a steel trap. Being energetic and curious with an upbeat attitude, she will either charm or annoy the gems she meets. She usually has a joyful or devious smile on her face. While hyper, she is not easily distracted from her tasks, she uses her high energy to finish her work quickly and efficiently. She looks up to many gems, and strives for their approval.
She is knowledge sponge who wants to know everything about everything and everybody. That being said, she does stalk gems. And she develops crushes very easily. Honestly, she can be a creepy child at times, but she does have good intentions. Speaking of intentions, she never means to be a smartaleck. It just happens naturally. She is a pretty emotional and dramatic gem, but is only sensitive about a few things.
Brief History/Backstory: Amblygonite was created in a kindergarten made specifically for Technician and Engineer gems, under the allegiance of Sugar Diamond. So she was immediately sent to a Technical training camp (or something, idk official gem terms) as soon as she was formed. And she simultaneously unnerved and impressed all of her teachers. She advanced through the training at a rapid pace, either because she excelled or the instructors wanted to get rid of her disruptive behavior.
Her first assignments were usually in developing kindergartens, keeping the equipment running smoothly and such. She often worked alongside Peridots, gems who looked down at her at first, but then warmed up to her slowly, seeing how hard she worked. Of course, the first thing she ever learned was that excellent work earned her approval…and free time to goof off.
A few decades later, Amby was in an older kindergarten that needed major repairs in order to run again. There were two teams assigned to the task, but one was detained. The team that Amby was leading completed the job before the second team even arrived. Amby’s manager took note of her speed and diligence, and recommended Amblygonite for the position of a court technician.
One would think Amby would have jumped up and down and screamed at the news of getting to work directly under Sugar Diamond herself. Instead, A.M. laid down right where she was for a couple hours, completely overwhelmed.

-will not play when there is a job to get done. But once her work is complete, it is fun time.
