Here's an excerpt :
" She loved David, she thought, and she knew he loved her. She saw the way he looked at her, the way he stumbled around her, the way he smiled and laughed around her. David loved her, and she liked it.

She knew he did not know how she felt about him, she never once told him, and she cried harder. It was over and so she cried, and she could not stop.

She sat alone.
And she cried."
