I really like this particular photo of yours. I think that one of the main things that caught my attention was the quote you wrote at the bottom of this particular work of art. How you refuse to be the model that the world wants you to be. That really shows through with the style of this photo. I think that the lighting was just right, causing great contrast between your black looking pants and the white background. Another aspect of this photo that i really think catches the onlookers eye is the shadow/ darkness that covers your face. It adds a sense of mysteriousness to the image.
Another aspect that I love about this photo is that the background and your skin seem to blend together due to the lighting. However, personally, the one thing I might possibly change about this photo if it were mine, would be the brightness of the background. It catches the eye easily however it draws the focus from you to the light patterns. Your pants seem to draw my attention the most. Overall GREAT work and as usual GREAT photo.

First of all WOW, this shot is so different from your usual selection, of black and white photography.
I love the light coming in from behind it scults your body, with the contours of your skin and folds of clothing, the shadows radiate through. It also gives me the impression your melting into the light, your just seems to vanish in to the strength of the light.
You're pose is simply lovely with the angles that refer to the rule of thirds, your eyes seem to wonder around the image. And the expression on your face reminds me of Determination, pulling through your quote " I refuse to be a mold of what society wants me to be." You've set yourself to it and the desicion has been made there is no way your going to be turning back from the path you've set your self up for.
I also love how this image is "Grainy", it gives the illiousion of tradition black and white film photography, its good to see that with use of technology people can also bring back the classics.
The only couple of down falls to this image is the reflection of your arm to the top of the photograph, its quite distracting and eye catching. I would have also liked to see an even border (dead center), but some might also say it adds, depending on the veiwer and would have liked to see the whole of your body, the image seems to cut off around the edges. Also possibly for the next time you do something like this possition your face slightly to the left so that the shadow on your face isnt so dark.

I really like this piece. The pose is unique and creative, which is refreshing when you tend to see the same old thing over and over these days. I really like that you used the window as your backdrop. The light behind you gives the piece a neat sort of silhouette effect without loosing the details. I think the black and white has a nice effect, as well, giving it a sort of serious look, which is contrasted by the somewhat silly pose. One bad thing, though, is that the photo lacks a strong focal point. The black where your hair is sort of creates one because of the contrast, but since the pants are so dark that draws the eye away. Overall, though, it's a really great piece, very professional.
