It has been a looong time since I drew something Titanic-related.I spend so much time of my life "with" this ship, its almost a shame I didnt even try to improve drawing her. (I know, in english its "it" for a ship, but for ME, she will always stay a "she", so please dont bother to correct me in that case ;D )
Its not even good. I needed around 2 hours for this one, but I feel its okay for the first try after quite a few years.
Its the 100th Anniversary of her sinking tomorrow. (15th april). So I felt I should upload it before that date.

Ships are always female. I dont know how it is in english, but in german its always "die" before a ships name. "Die" doesnt mean to become dead, it means to adress a female. "Die Titanic" not "Der Titanic" XD In english its easier, theres just "the" and finish. "the man.. the woman... "die frau - der Mann" ... XD And we always adress a ship as a she here.

you're pic looks amazing, but i think you've ot the smoke stack's color wrong.
i believe it was a red trimed black one in the movies.
I'm not a big fan of the new version of titanic, though i might watch it.

I live in germany on a more outside place. No big city (my town is pretty huuge in its area, but there are only around 8 000 citizens). Many farms, forests, fields. Sometimes quite boring but since I dont like to go out anyways, its fine for me. I wouldnt move somewhere else XD

funnels as you call them were like a black color.

Thats one of the best titanic drawings ever made - and its totally authentical. The funnels should be coloured like that - but mine are always too bright in their colour
