great work again, this has again that dramatic feel, which is hard to get in some situations of working..

you managed to get both, a dramatic and a still-looking image at once..

Well I wish I had an ounce of your creativity. Great Work. Ya you better put in your sig that you only use your own photos lol. I agree with you 100% that if you dont use your own photos then you cannot really call the art work you do truely your own. You can show off the talent you may have but the piece is not really yours. At least thats the way I look at it.

- ... my apologies for submitting this comment twice ... but ....... i couldn't tell if it worked the first time ...

the devil's day off has a whimsical creed .
dancing hither in frolick amidst damp meadow of weeds.
come close your eyes to harvest in the bleeding decrees
rained upon decadence forever in seething
breath out the excess of what dies in mid heat

then warm up by he fireside and have little cup of pink ginger bulb tea

- um ..... the pix kinda made me think of that ^^'
- i luv the pix, it is great ........ everyone keeps saying it's creepy etc. ......... i actually think that it's quite comical and sweet ... but then that's just me i guess

stellar as always. i dig the composition and tones, although i feel like the fire sort of detracts from the gritty, textured look of the rest of the piece. but that's pretty nitpicky, this is fantastic work...

How long did it take you to do this masterpiece? Also, do you shoot your own stock photos or do you use others'?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

damnengine In reply to naavis [2004-09-29 12:28:12 +0000 UTC]

it took me a couple of hours, I only use my own photos, I'd have a problem when I'd use stockphotos because you're restricted to a shot someone else made (while I can take the shot that I want) and it wouldn't be "my piece" anymore.

naavis In reply to damnengine [2004-09-29 12:33:54 +0000 UTC]

*nod* I would usually use only my own photos, but that would require getting up from this chair and getting out of the house to photograph. Sometimes I use photos that I've taken during a holiday trip to somewhere, though. But yeah, great work.

A thought occured to me earlier today. If you use only your own photos, where have you photographed all those bones and skulls and such?
