Started sketching the other night, and this rambling collage occurred. Characters from my old webcomic Demonology 101 that I started something like ten years ago and drew regularly until 2004 (when I graduated from school). I wanted to do a nice 10 year anniversary picture for the comic, but I can't remember if I started it in 1999 or 2000... anyway, this is not that picture. This is a doodle that got out of control.I haven't decided how I'm going to finish this thing. If anyone's interested in colouring it, I have a hirez file.

I remain a fan of D101, as much as I am excited for all of your new projects (and your publishing gig! And the fact that I saw your name in a copy of Writer's Magazine! I went running to my roommate to say "But I KNOW who that IS!") I'm still amazed by the fact that you finished it, and by the hand-done art, and most of all by the heart of the story. I hope another epic story is in your future contracts, because you tell them marvelously.

I did finish reading the comic a little while back, and I must say that you managed to fit some of my favourite themes and character types into one comic.
Warring brothers was one of those. I sink my teeth into a good 'brothers at odds' story. Especially when they get stabby.
And Gabe was such a peach.

This is great! I used to follow Demonology 101 (while in class, no less.) I remember it ended the same year I graduated. It had a big impact on me artisticly.

I'm tearing up right now. that's right, I'm not ashamed to admit it. (any chance of a series reboot?). My first webcomic (my first comic of any kind, actually) and still my favourite.

Aw, it's okay. *patpat* Super nice to hear that comic was enjoyed by so man. Honestly, I would love to return to it, but I think it's important for me to move on to other projects now. Maybe a few more years down the road when I have more leverage in the publishing industry, I'll pitch a rework. Maybe someday.

If it was 1999 that you started posting it, it was very late 1999. I remember first reading D101 in the Summer of 2000, and there weren't many pages up then.

I do so enjoy seeing Demonology 101 emerge once in awhile. That was a nice surprise to wake up to!
I like that Mackenzie is the only one to have her entire body in the picture. Seems very indicative of her personality somehow.

You know, Its Demonology that inspired me to go to art school for illustration. I always wanted to be an illustrator, but never thought I could be good enough at art to do it. But then I read Demonology and saw how much more awesome your art got through the years while you were in school and It gave me the right push to do it. Im in art school in San Francisco now. Its awesome. Thankyou so much.

Oh wow, Nostalgia at max. Your's was one of the first webcomics I read if not the first and still remains to this day the most amazing out of all of them. You just managed to incorporate such an even blend of drama, humor, character development and a very well thought out story.
Leithe is still my favorite character for some odd reason, that inspired an hour long debate with my elder sibling on why I liked him and why she didn't. Good times.
