She was more than the queen of her own country. The man she loved was an ambitious prince who was willing to murder his own kin to obtain his goals. Just like her. It was a chilling thing to have in common, but in a pit of snakes, he was her only ally.About this drawing:
This drawing came about because it was to be a self-portrait. For those who know me well, they know how this is a self portrait.
Anyway, I actually had fun drawing this one, though it could be better, but that would take another twenty hours. I never inked it, I just photoshopped the color, but all the values are in the real drawing. This version is another hour after this one: [link]

Yeah, I had hit a point where I just got so tired of the bias on this site and I also wanted to improve my artwork. I totally understand when you say artwork not being popular (or well-appreciated) because it's not in the common anime style. When I watch people, I tend to watch those who have an unique style. (I've noticed a lot of "popular" artists here have artwork that looks alike...they aren't really unique.)
I've slightly changed my work just a little bit...I felt like all my people looked the same, so I've been working with anatomy a lot. My style still has manga elements but I've incorporated more realistc proportions to it. But thanks...I will hopefully have my new account up by the end of next month (or at the latest, in February).

That's cool! I had similar problems, and I think I still might need new direction and all that...but I just haven't gotten around to doing what I'm interested in because of school...with which I'm not currently too happy with...

I totally love this. I love that it's sepia as well makes it seem like an old image, which I think is really cool. LOVE the floor and the detail on the table cloth.
