Description
A little image to take with me to Free Comic Book Day. 5x7 drawing on canvas panel. Had fun playing with layering markers and smudging them like watercolors.
Zuzu looks so happy methinks, I want to scratch his poofy chest.. Need to figure out how much to sell the original for.

Hi! Tenchi here! Interpretation is a gift I have in which I can read art like a stop sign. XD I always had a soft spot for cute bunnies, and this one is unique. Well, I'll begin.........
The first thing I noticed is the unique anatomy of Zuzu, with an interesting mix of a cat's body. I guess to go even further, I'll look into colors. White and blue. blue is a color often associated or expressed with cool, calm, collective, and of elements of the earth, like water or air. Now I look to other elements I can find in the pic.
...The grass, it's tail in the foreground, it's fur. The grass and Zuzu's fur gives me the feeling of wanting to reach out and touch, perhaps even ruffle it's fur. Almost like a visual invitation. Oh snap! I think I can make the connection now! Cool! Going deeper now..........
I look to the color again, the color blue on the tips of Zuzu's ears and tail. Slowly looking up from Zuzu's tail, I feel as though I'm laying on my back just waking up from a dream only to find Zuzu looking down on me happily as though what I dreamed of wasn't a dream. This is my most strongest impression. Now with that, I'll dive even deeper still. .......The blue color seems to tug at me. I notice paterns surrounding Zuzu's head of clear blue spaces between the clouds, as though it was surrounding the creature on call or on command. White and blue.....I'm reminded of a windy element. ...I think...now I look to the title sunny day. It's day time, and although the sun is not visible, the title shares a very strong impression of warmth, a feeling of being at home with...the element...like how a person would feel when waking to a beautiful day. Cool! Zuzu, could be an elemental creature of some sort! Maybe a magical type that could possibly fly or blow air or something. I'm just guessing now. But I think I'm pretty close, though I could be wrong. But based on what I study and find in this art, it seems to speak to me visually this way. Overall this is a very cute pic, and one which I would love to wake up on the grass after a soft muzzle to the nose, with the soft wind breezing over. This is the feeling I get from this pic. Cool! Well, that concludes my interpretation. Hope you enjoy the read. That was a fun challenge. ^^

It turned out really nice. It's actually good to smear the markers with your fingers with if you do it quick, makes for smooth/glossy looks on surfaces if you want those.

Well, whoopsie. I hope the picture won't be mad at me. "Picture", for lack of a better term. If it's not a painting, does that make it a... markering?
