Not exactly. Kaa in the books was male and he was not seductive at all. He was elderly, wise, elegant and gentle. Kind of like Christopher Lee in Jinnah or something. Not at all like the 2016 Kaa, who was mostly just seductive and alluring.

I disagree. Kaa is more badass as male. I loved how he was so Gandalf-like in the books and so poetic, wise and elegant. Bagheera is more fitting as a female though.
