This chick is being rebuilt for my buddy Seijimei who has been waiting over a month for this character. There is still some work with the hair and face but I'm gonna package it up and send you the link. Right now the two tails on the side of her head is a bit of a pain with respect to the texture and transparency. Personally I don't feel the likeness is there yet but this is only the second render with the character. I'm sure you'll exceed what's been done for the base model.Oh here is the first model so you can see the changes [link]

I have to be honest. I really don't care too much about this character. I made her for another 3D artist "Seijimei" who likes her a lot. It's difficult for me to work on characters I don't have an interest in. Death Note? You certainly know your anime. You're like a professional Anime Sensei to me.

It helps to know the character if I'm going to do a good job with them. I really try to dig deep when developing them. A lot of times I am not pleased with the characters I have right now. The only one that I seem to have made perfect was Anko. I have not edited her since I built her... Other than to make genitals for her. Still it's important to have an interest in what you're going to build or it will not really look that great. Sasori is a good example. He was a request and I really don't care for the character that much.

For curiosity, I would liek to ask if you have any original characters yourself? Creatures/people you created in your own mind combining elemnts you liked or doing something completely new?

Heheh.. Anko to me is more than a barbie doll so she needed some genitals. Temari is the base model for all the rest so if she has it then they all do.

Temari is like a great goddess who started it all. Well, she is the goddess. I vote Temari to the Ultimate Kage.
For me it kind of is a way to mix together some traits from different characters and putting them to their own world, kind of allows to create the perfect situation. After all, Narutoverse is not so perfect, with the ladys being killed or just forgotten.

If this is not too personal, then who did you role play? I am used of creating characters and for last I actually managed to build a world that is quite logical. It sort of is like looking over your creations, but never really stepping in to their world.

To be honest, I played myself with a different name. Gaara and Temari-Chan came up with the idea in January 2009, and I just jumped in. For the life of me, I could not play a ninja so I put a twist in the story that seemed to work well for a while... Then Gaara killed me!?

Haha.. I was stealing a bit of his fire. He is the real writer, but he goes a little sideways with his style. Didn't matter much to me. They didn't like the idea of a army ranger in the ninja world anyway.
We should try again but Nihane-Chan will have to put some sort of outline.

No matter what you say, it would be impossible just to write something by stealing someone's fire. 
There are samurais and bounty hunters should be common as well. It wouldn't be so wrong to have an army ranger though.

Well I was just playin. They were pushin me to use Kakashi since we appear to have a lot in common. Still I can't really roleplay an OC in there. All of the ninja powers are simply too much. I figured a regular human with the proper tools would do.
They wanna do this again but I'm not sure how to set it up for them. Any ideas?

Lot in common with Kakashi? The genius, pervert and badass? yeah, you do have a lot in common.
Experienced soldier with weapons like chainsaw and land mines and a lot of experience should be able to whip the asses of those ninja wannabes. after all, samurai's must be pretty tough. I wonder if Sasuke has only small air reserve in Susanoo. if air gets through then why didn't Mizukage's acid breath kill him right there. But in this case, surround Sasuke with poisonous gas long enough and he simply suffocates in his unpenetrateable armor. No ninja techniques needed.
Are you looking for a suitable character who is not a ninja, but has abilitys to counter them? For one OC I'm working on is an old soldier in his fiftys, who can fight on par with creatures with high magical ability or who are lot stronger than him. Just today I was thinking of how he would be surrounded by multiple enemys and just plant land mines with nails around his hiding place and letting them exhaust their numbers before taking them out one-by-one. And I am not talking about humans, but creatures lot bigger and stronger than humans. In Hellsing professional soldiers used land mines and all sorts of fun things to fight vampire army who had a lot better speed and strenght than them.

Hahah.. You put a lot of though into this. I was never really a badass. My m.o.s was long range recon and I was the support gunner for the group. That all ended in late 1991 when I almost lost my right arm and was honorably discharged. Overall, I was just a dumb kid trying to go to college for free with the army's help. The badasses or dumbasses are still there or dead.
Sasuke does not have the stamina to keep that jitsu running and he's pretty helpless after. The secret is to make him spend his energy on it and then slit his throat after when he's weak.
An OC for myself? I would stick to regular human to be honest. I always felt that it was more challenging to have a well equip human rather than all these super power jitsu abilities. Kinda like Batman. Honestly I am looking for a way to setup an proper OC text game on the forum for the members. They are not taking to the Naruto RPG that was built very well.

Being a badass also qualifys for those who can move on in life. In sometimes it is the hardest thing.
If only he wouldn't pull a new patch for this weakness. Like taking Itachi's eyes, getting his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and being able to draw power directly from earth. or eating his element, fire. There is one guy in Fairy Tail manga, who can pull this off. And after the matter of the Ten Tails I can expect anything. The dumb thing is, I was playing with this idea for a little alternative universe idea for Naruto, where Naruto would be Kyuubi's son (Who was Namikaze Minato.) and he would also have a sexy twin sister. (The sexy no jutsu version of him.) And I thought that maybe all the Beasts were one. Ten Tailed Cockroach. And then Kishimoto goes and pulls this!? Kishimoto was inspired by Dragon Ball, but this feels a bit too much like Dragon Ball style powering up.
Experienced soldiers can kick pretty much ass. In One Piece there are people who can even turn their body into an element thanks to eating a devil's fruit. Marine forces have special equipment for dealing those kind of monsters. What I enjoyed was the planning, what Kakashi and Shikamaru usually do. But recently the entire stuff has become a battle between nuclear eyes and mythological beasts.
Batman is one cool guy. The last movie...

Moving forward is something that has become difficult all of the sudden. I am trying to change jobs because this one is just too crazy for me. Still not happening yet.
I believe that Kishimoto is grasping at straws. He's trying to make his characters cool with all these incredible abilities but it's just boring. I always preferred a simple character with limitations. These guys are like gods from the insane abilities they have. Even Gaara is no longer a threat in Naruto world.
Yep Batman was really cool, but I like the animated version more. A simple character in as an OC with a lot of heart and determination. That's what I would personally be interested in. However I am not sure if we will ever get to that point considering how the admins are right now. Seems like everyone is having tough times and cannot spend a lot of time on the forum.

That is true. What characters need more than abilitys is character development. Getting these abilitys makes not much of sense and they don't feel as if they belong to these characters. The scary demon Gaara is rendered into a cuddle raccoon compared to other guys.

Well to be honest, I am trying to find something that is rather lazy and high-pay. The reason for this is becasue I'm almost ready with my web company, but it will take some time to get off the ground. During that time, I would require a job that does not consume all of my time so I can keep promoting.

P.S. I remembered something I wanted to ask about your art. How is it with the models. Do you make them and then save them as files somewhere to later use them .I mean with all the propertys? And is there some certain measurements to them? I mean like the height? As Hinata-chan's and Yugito-chan's boxing match made the msoom with different hights? Or do you just adjust their hights if one side is seemingly shorter than other?
