Worst costume I have ever "made", but it's a sweet picture. For the record, we made a coat in >1 hour, the bodice and fishnets are Haruhi-bunny, and the choker is just a strip of spandex. Diane got boots and did the wig.So yeah. Noooot a costume I particularly like, though Diane looks fabulous in it. It's just not Canary.

I love it! being a comic geek myself, I know what self criticism is like. However, BC rocked fishnets, not regular pantyhose....
I do however, have an Idea for an Supergirl costume for you if you want it....

for the back of the cape, you could use the classic 'S' done in the Returns style, but make it all yellow

So basically, do a Turner!Supergirl costume in the butt-ugly style of Superman Returns

no, do a 80's Supergirl, but with the Returns styled 'S, but the top would look more like the 85 Supergirl outfit, before the original Kara Zor-el was killed off....

The costume is just fine. Peharps the tayloring is not perfect but one can't tell viewing the pic. The only thing is that there's something glamorous about Canary that doesn't appear here. It's mainly a matter of hairdo. The original character was inpired by veronica Lake, back in the 40' and definitely should stick to this very hairdo.

Yeah, Diane pitched a fit because she couldn't have the wig I was wearing that day, so she hacked up her Bad Girl wig and wore that. If we had more time to get a second wig, yeah, Canary would have had that.

oh well i pretty much broke away from DC and Marvel, they ruined the two only comics i read and what they did i did not like and i waited for em to fix it and it's been to long so forget em!!

I'm in it for the long haul. I know there'll be bad books and messed up plots, but another writer always comes around to fix them.
I've never read Marvel, though, and don't intend to.

DC messed up more then fix themselves for me, really then tend to not leave well enough alone and try to fix stuff that is not broken. I understand improving it but they tend to destroy things and basicly magic fixes it all and i just cannot be blind to that. but then again i like stories and dc seems to screw em up $$

What's an example of DC screwing up? I mean, "not fixing stuff that isn't broken" says "origin stories" to me, but honestly, broken to one person is fixed to another.

they did mess up Cassadria Cain, then you know they did mess up amazon attacks as well... then they did bring back tons of people who died and probably should of stood dead... but then again those are just things i know others are upset about as well
