You know, every time I find a new picture of Sheik, I always focus on the eyes more than aynything else. To me, the eyes of a person make up 50% of the picture, especially when the rest of that person's face is obscured. And I can say with complete honesty that I love how you did Sheik's eyes.

The only time Sheik was referred to by gender was by Ruto and Ruto called Sheik a young man. True she could have just been mistaken but that's the only bit of canon in game evidence on Sheik's gender. Also this is a pretty dark game when you really think about it. I mean Link is a 12 year old kid who is forced into becoming the Hero of Time and has his childhood and innocence stolen from him in the process. There are religious sounding chants in the Temples, there are drawings of Gorons being eaten in the Fire Temple, it's suggested that the Redeads are reanimated corpses, you can actually see a Hyrulian Soldier die if you go into the back alley of Castle Town before becoming an adult for the first time, and the Gerudo's kidnap men so that they can repopulate. It's not that far-fetched that a magical gender change could be used for a disguise.

but darkness has nothing to do with it. take a short time to think. what would growing a penis do for her that dressing like a boy wouldent? and if it was a boy there wouldent be braest bondings and she wouldent be afraid of link getting to close.

It would make the disguise much more convincing since she needs to stay hidden from Ganondorf for 7 years. Also when Zelda is an adult she has too large of boobs for her to simply hide them by binding because they would fall out and get loose all the time since Sheik has to be on the move all the time. The official artwork for Sheik in Ocarina of Time shows a very muscled and manly physique for Sheik which Zelda just does not have. And when Zelda gets trapped in the fire in Ganon's Castle if she had the same body as Sheik she could have simply just jumped out but Link had to save her which shows that Zelda and Sheik (while the same person on the inside) are two completely different bodies on the outside.

1)drowing a penis wouldent make it more convincing, it'd be pointless since sjeik doesn't run around naked in front of ganon's gaurds
2)brest bindings do a very very good job and sheik IS wearing them to keep her boobs back. also OoT's zelda has small boobs
3)amore gives of the muscular score as ninja's use thin sheets of iron in there suits to not take as much damage
4)sheik has no buldge. if sheik was a man then his buldge would show in a skin tight suit.
5)i agree zelda could have done some ninja parcour in ganon's castle but that would be anti climactic and bad story telling if zelda mary sued in the end
6)zelda wasen't completly useless but you must remeber she was kidnapped and likeley out of energy so it wouldent be possible to fight in her dress (and the N64 AI was terrible)
7) there not different bodies just different clothes and magic
8)the nintendo 64 was weak and miyamoto himself said that sheik would look like she does in SSB if there there were ever a full scale reboot of ocarina of time. they even released concept art of sheik fighting with link using a kunai knife and a more femine body so nintendo basically confirmed it

Yeah it kind of would. First off since Sheik is running around fighting all the time if his shirt was ripped then having a man's chest would keep from arousing suspicion. Also as Sheik is running around all the time if he was a girl "her" boobs would slip and fall out of the bindings (and no Ocarina of Time Zelda while not having the biggest boobs still has big enough boobs that binding wouldn't help.)
And Sheik obviously isn't wearing any armor since he is so nimble and is jumping around all the time and armor would weigh him down.
There wouldn't be a bulge if he's not erect.
Sorry but that doesn't make sense. If Zelda was able to do all of those ninja things as Sheik and they had the exact same body then she would have easily been able to get out of that ring of fire dress or no.
The fact that they have different muscle proportions, skin color, and eye color proves that they have different bodies.
Miyamoto has never said that. The concept art of Sheik fighting with Link looked just the same amount as manly as the other artwork did.
Lastly Super Smash Bros. isn't a canon source to go by because it often gets trophy information wrong and it wasn't created by Miyamoto or Aonuma, it was created by Kirby creator Sakurai so it isn't canon.

okay were starting to drift into fan theory the fact is that like it or not sheik is wearing breast bandages, hides her face, and doesn't like link being to close those are facts.
1)there litarly is no plausible reason for zelda to turn into a boy but still hide her face
2) why were breast bondings if your a dude?
3) thin sheets of iron is almost weightless which is why ninja's use them and even if she wasen't wearing amor sheik has a pear figure and zelda is a tomboy(stated in the game) so its not very farfetched that zelda is athletic and woulden't have been so helpless if it assent for the prison, being sapped of power and lets not forget the wall of fire hell holding ganon still was all the power she had.
4)smash bros data base (not the game itself just the info) is canon. its been cleared with creators because i'm pretty sure nintendo wouldn't let 2 person re-write Nintendo history and every thing was fact checked and based of there games.
5)trust me if miyamoto had a problem with sheik being feminized he would say "hey sheik don't list sheik as a girl because he is a boy" or better yet "sheik is gender ambiguous let the player choose" hell he did it for birdo and yoshi don't you think he'd do the same for sheik?

I love sheik and ur art. It absolutely amazing. She was the best character in melee along w/ fox, marth, and peach. I fav'd it. She's still one of my four favorite characters. Peach, marth, and pikachu are the others. Your artwork is always amazing in my books man.
