Dear Multigrade ~ I'm writing to ask your permission to use your painting Sultan as a
St•ash file in the description of a painting I am just completing, a painting which most certainly has been
inspired by you and your use of blacks. Granted it's not a huge FEATURE SECTION of my favorite
artists, ...just an example of what is currently inspiring, exciting and motivating me to try to modify
my current methods in my approach to watercolor. If you're really late in getting back to me with
your permission, I can submit it w/o it. And possibly add it as a later date. Please and thanks much...
