Very nice, very realistic, but if the area is monster-infested, wouldn't there be some sort of defence around the town? Watchtowers, walls?

Thanks! I'm happy to hear it looks realistic. I understand that you would imagine the town having some defenses, and it actually makes a lot of sense based on the text that I wrote with it. The way I imagined it was that the monsters dwell in the wilderness and on the roads between towns and cities, but not actually attack them.

I hope to make a map of another town in the near future. That's one that has actually isolated itself from the outside world and pulled up walls around the city.
