As far as jump rings are concerned, have you considered the use of a electric rotary tool with abrasive cutoff discs? Saves a ton of sawing time!
...oh, and great job! Where did you take your jewelry class?

If that had been an option for the class, I would have done it but since it was a beginning course, we had to do everything by hand. I'll keep that in mind if I ever need to make jump rings again!
I took the class at Humboldt State University. The jewelry professor there is astounding and made a living off her jewelry work for many many years until she decided to teach.
