Well, as I read this, I believe you live the way you feel most happy with, and I think that's the best way to live. It doesn't matter if you're a christian, muslim, atheist or anything else: as long as you feel happy about it.

I can't believe in a God, because I simply don't. And I have to be honest, I hope there's none. I want to be dead, when I die. I don't want to exist forever. I believe you have this life and then you die. No judgement at the end of the road. It makes me feel free and happy.

I also always say: and IF there's a God, in the end, he will understand why I don't believe. I mean, the world is not black and white, and I believe that IF there's a God, he won't be either.

The way most traditional religions view God, heaven and hell, just frightens me. How can someone (God) "love you" but punish you for something you're born with or something you did. How can someone love a leader who's THAT strict? I can't believe a superior creature (like God) can be that dumb. For example: being gay. I mean, why would God hate that? Because the Bible says "go forth and reproduce"? That will also mean that people who get born with infertility must be hated by God as well. I thought religion was about love? Gay love is still love. If he's really the almighty God, he must see there are too many people on earth right now and he'll be glad there are condoms etc.

The Bible is another thing: it's written by 4 people, who aren't even Jesus. For the sake of argument, lets say Jesus really died for our sins, lets say he really was the son of God. It doesn't mean the rest written in the Bible is true. I mean, he never wrote it. There's a big chance that the 4 people who DID write it, put stuff in that never really happened etc. They say it's INSPIRED by God. I mean, lots of books are inspired by things, but it doesn't mean they kept true to that source.

I don't hate God, I just hate his fans who believe others are "bad" just because they live in a different way, or believe in different things. If there's a hell and a heaven, I hope I don't go to the same place as those small minded people (not you, for the record. You seem like a very good human being, who does accept other people's choices).

true, he just stopped believing in God, mostly after his daughter died.

I'm thanking Darwin for bringing logic into "creation". Without that I might have believed in a God too. But it's just too logical this way!

Not saying this because I'm an atheist too, but because I believe it's good to find your peace. Even if you're a Christian and find peace in your faith, it's all good.

As long as they don't bore me with their "you're going to hell" stories lol

Yep! And then again, if there IS a life after death and there IS a God, he would understand why we lived life to the fullest and we'd only have a double whammy; good life on earth, good after life!

1. I'm an atheist, not a satanist. Try knowing the difference

2. I do believe in something. I believe there is no god. I believe in evolution. Atheism means "without a god" not "no believe at all"

3. With a God you can do anything too. Just because I'm an atheist doesn't mean I don't have morals. Actually, this makes me the better person. I don't rape etc. because I think it's unethical, where you apparently state you don't do it because God forbid it.

4. I'm not a slut, for I haven't had sex with many people yet.

5. I'm not depressed, atheism makes me believe this world isn't created by someone who's powerful but just doesn't care.

6. I'm not a freak, atheism is commenly accepted.

7. I did not say the universe is infinite. I don't know how big the universe is. Don't put words in my mouth please.

8. The Bible has been written by 4 people. People. Can't deny it right? If I were to write, back in the year 1000 or so, "God is a monkey with a red jumper. I know so cuz he said so" people might have believed me, though they didn't know what a jumper is.
