DEATHLY HALLOWS SPOILERS!!!!!lolz, danielly can draw childrenz??? i tried TT^TT
i had to get these kids out of my systemmm, for reals.
While I loved the epilogue for the closure, the cuteness, and the reassurance that all was well......i found it SO LAAME and KINDA ODD that the kids' names were the most unoriginal and most repetitive of all time.
1. James Potter- i thought i'd give him dark auburn hair, like his grandmother.
2. Albus Severus Potter- I don't know what it is, but there's something i find INSANELY ADORABLE about him....werrd. It's mentioned that he looks like Harry, so there you go. And I like to think he goes to Slytherin, just cuz i like things to be different :3
3.Lily Potter- I imagine her to be a total sporty girl/tomboy.
4 & 5. Rose & Hugo Weasley- i actually imagine the both of them with a darker, more "brunette" shade of red hair. If that makes any sense....like a dark copper-y color. For some reason I just can't imagine their hair being BRIGHT FLAMING RED like Ron's. D: nope. So it becomes a mixture in my mind!
Also, wtf kind of name is hugo??? lols! when i read his name and literally sniggered. xD
6. Teddy Lupin- uhm, hotness, fo shizzle? [link]
7. Victoire Weasley- victoire with strawberry-blonde hair, OF COURSE.
8. Scorpius Malfoy- scorpius in all his pointy glory. i give him bluuuuee eyes for a change.
P.S. Genetics are a tricky, tricky thing.

I like the way you did the kids. James looks really good with his grandmother Lilly's dark red hair. Albus is adorable and I also imagine him Slytherin (or possibly Ravenclaw), I think he got Harry's Slytherin traits (I'm sure Harry knew one of his kids would get them and prepared himself for it and he didn't want them to be ashamed or deny a part of themselves like he had.) The reddish-brown hair looks good on Rose and Hugo though it's possible that Hermione has some recessive red hair gene in her family, one of her parents or some distant relative could've had red hair. I can imagine Lilly as kind of a tomboy because Ginny was as well.

I loved the DH book for the most part, but the epilogue SUCKED. Waaayy too cutesy and fluffy and not enough angst. I would have liked to see a Harry with PTSD, maybe, or a Draco suffering from extreme guilt, not all the fluffy bunnies and crap.
By the way, I LOVE your Teddy...He looks yummy.

That's kind of how I feel about the epilogue too. It's great they got married, had families and were happy but it just seemed too perfect. It just didn't seem very believable to me, considering all they went through. I would've liked for them to have more struggles like PTSD, guilt and depression and they'd have to work together to help and support each other. I imagine Harry waking up the middle of the night with nightmares and Ginny has to comfort him or he suffers from periods of depression and his children will ask, "Mummy what's wrong with Daddy?" because they don't understand what they're dad, Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione went through and how it affects them.Β I would've liked to read about Harry's guilt when he found out the truth about Snape and realized that he treated him pretty horribly too and that he was in a lot of pain but never helped him or treated him with any kindness and how he was convinced that Snape was trying to kill him even though he was trying to protect him. I also find it hard to believe that HarryΒ who had been neglected and abused by his relatives could be a perfect parent;Β I can imagine Harry remembering his uncle beating him and nearly hits his kids and Ginny has to stop him or he just starts screaming something like, "you worthless, ungrateful freak; no one will ever love you!" and then be shocked and be like, "what did I just say!" (I think Al probably get the worst of this because he'd remind Harry the most of himself.)
That's what I really liked about The Hunger Games epilogue; Katniss and Peeta make a better life for themselves but they both still suffer because of their pasts (Katniss states that she still suffers from nightmares and Peeta has to comfort her) and have to help each other through it.

Really cute!!! I love the subtle ways their character shows through. The flirtiness of Victore and the big brother sort of look about James. There's something about all of them like that.

I love Albus. He IS adorable! I imagined James to have black hair like Harry as well, but this is cool too. Rose and Hugo are exactly how I pictured them in this. Teddy and Victoire! Whoo!......wait, Draco didn't have icy blue eyes? That's how I pictured his whole family, so that's what I thought about...Scorpius. Hehe! I love playing with DNA, it's fun! I love this

This is really good. I like how punky and bad ass you made Teddy and Victoire looks gorgeous! Everything in this entire Drawing is Great! I think you really captured the characters. And don't worry about what !Pixislove says. I like the colors you chose.

you don't understand much about genetics do you? Not that I can blame you, especially with fantastic art like this
The thing with genetics is that you can't mix colours.... well.... you can mix SKIN COLOUR...... but not hair colour or eye colour.
also if you're blonde than you only carry the blonde gene, therefore only pass on the blonde gene for instance, if your mother is blonde and your father is blonde but you've got some different hair colour, than you're either adopted or he's not your father.
also strawberry blonde is actually red, victorie's hair in your picture is more akin to washed out pink hair dye.
also another thing, if one of your parents is blonde but another isn't than you could still be blonde, depending on whether or not your non-blonde parent had a blonde ancestor.
and don't get me wrong: I REALLY LOVE IT! it's just I'm prone to dishing out lectures. XC sorry.

Actually you can mix eye color, i'm not sure about hair color though... You see my Uncle has green eyes and blonde hair, and my aunt had brownish-black hair with brown eyes. Their daughter had brown hair but the tips are blonde, and her eyes are brown. Their other daughter (I don't know her hair color b cuz she is a baby), her eyes are hazel, which is brown mixed with green. Conincedence? I think not. CASE CLOSED~!
And danielly, I asolutely LOVE this! Did you see the movie? Draco was almost bald! Every person in the theatre laughed!

I found the names to be kind of cute, except Hugo. How in the world did Hermione let her son be named Hugo? And if the tradition is to name children after dead people, what about Lily Luna?

I'm usually quite boring and like to think the kids look EXACTLY like their parents.
Like Albus looks like Harry, Rose looks like Hermione etc.
