Description More practice for the SFV poster art for EVO. Hope you like how this one is coming along. I shall be posting thumbnail sketches of other poster ideas as well and hope to get some critiques on them as well to improve any of them.

Let me know your thoughts.

Edit :  I was just recently informed that I can only sell non-licensed Street Fighter V related material at EVO which has officially knocked a bit of the wind out of my sails going forward on these... But despite that I will continue on with these before moving onto other ideas for posters that don't relate to SFV specifically. Because I really want to nail these out.

Ryu has been modified with the right arm now showing more of the side that he's showing on the outside of his arm, Eye and nose further corrected. As well other features shifted a bit. Rain element added in. As well as some drops of water. Let me know if the raining element is working here. I'd have to actually do more rain drops like I did with the Battle Chasers piece and while easy, it is tedious. Maybe not to many drops?. Also shifted the belt over to the left to line up with his turned body.

Ah - much better.  As for critiques, the nose is pointed straight at us, but his head overall is not, but just slightly.  The anatomy on his upper right arm could use some love too.  Overall it's looking great.

Nicely spotted, I'll give the nose a tweak in the right direction a bit. I'll also work the arm as well a bit more. Given that the torso is turned a bit to the left we probably should see the side of the outer arm more and not the under inside of the arm right?

His gi should probably hide most of his right shoulder if he's turned - I can do a drawover if you want.

Cool - I have one temporarily in scraps:

Superimpose this over your drawing - it might help around the chest and shoulder area.
