Description This image comes as a bit of a counterpoint to my other image in the series, "The Old Guard" in that it's meant to parallel the simple nature and form of a cheeseburger. When comparing the two, the cheeseburger's elements are all the same shape, and all of them require little preparation. The burger needs to be cooked, but other than that the rest of the dish need only be sliced and piled together to make the archetypal "Cheeseburger" that so readily comes to mind.

In this image I tried to convey that utilitarian aspect that sets the cheeseburger apart from the luxurious Porterhouse by placing all of the elements together in a basic layout which is chiefly geometric in nature, while keeping some aesthetic appeal. Whereas the steak takes the form of a shield, the elements of the burger don't take on any larger form at all, just a collection of items arranged at random. Yet, as fans of the cheeseburger will attest, the collection works well together and satisfies.

Title of this is is intended to be "Deconstruction of a Cheeseburger" (too long for DA,) inspired by and borrowed from the forthcoming Devin Townsend album "Destruction" [link]
