Awww, I love you two. You're so cute. 🥰

Yeah, guys. We're back with Michael and Lorena's mermaid AU. In this new submission, the two fled to an apart side of their reef just to take this beautiful photo of them, and to cuddle each other all alone to show all the affection they have for the other. They even form a heart with their hands, that shows how strong their relationship is.

If you're good observers, you will note something reddish, like a scar, on Michael's right arm.   And, yes, that is a scar. Michael got it when he was defending Lorena from the attack of a shark. Michael battled with the shark, who bit his right arm in an ambush attack just before being defeated. Michael's arm bled for many hours until he was taken with Lorena's help to a hospital.  After that day, Lorena sees Michael as her hero, her saviour; and her love towards him strengthened to unimaginable levels. And now the two are an official couple.

I made this drawing more quickly than usual. I literally took a single day to make the sketch, the lineart and to color it. By the night it was ready to be published. 😯 But I decided to wait until today to take the photo in order to be aided by the sunlight. And let me tell you this is my best drawing so far. I really love my characters. I don't know how I could stick with such a beautiful art style for them. Especially Lorena: God she has a freakin' beautiful design that makes me to hug her. She's my pride, a character I can proudly say is mine!

Anyway, I love how cute my characters look in a mermaid form. You will see more of this AU in the near future. Because I love drawing my characters as mermaids.   But there are two problems:  I'm overusing my dark blue pencil in this AU, coloring the background -the background in this AU is the sea- , and I'm short to end it. And that's also the signature color of Michael. I will ask my parents to buy a new set of color pencils. The other problem is that my next deviation will be a comic. That means it will take longer to be done, much more work, and I don't know when I will finish it. And with a dark blue pencil nearing its completion, will make the task more complicated. Don't know what I'm gonna do, I'll probably leave the page abandoned for several days.   So, I'm gonna tell you that you need to be patient. I will be busy for a while.

So, with that bittersweet feeling, I will leave this new submission for your delight. This will be my last deviation for some days, while I'm working with the next one.
