Description Taken from a nice comfy seat at the top of Burnaby Mountain, looking down over a large part of Vancouver. This was taken obviously, as the sun was setting, at about 7:30PM. I liked the colours of the sky quite a bit, and although originally I didn't like the dark foreground, it has grown on me.

this is really beautiful O: It's oraaaange! *is a nut for orange coloured stuff* The most I got when I tried to take a photo of the sun setting was a pink background. Which was. Gross. >_>

Ive always liked the darker landscape foregrounds against brilliant colors of sunsets. The silhouetted shapes put more focus on the sky and make the colors stand out a lot more.

thank you im glad you liked it, sometimes I worry that with such a large portion of the photo being the 'foreground' that it may be too dark overall ^^

Beautiful, incredibly vivid colors. I always find it so funny how the sun sets here in the Philippines at about 6 pm, it's always a huge surprise when I travel

Thank you ^^ yeah I was quite happy with the colours, much stronger than I often capture! It was just at the right timing too, the sun was JUST going down over the horizon ^^
