Description 5th of the Scene series, and probably my personal fave of the bunch. This was the first time I've ever drawn Bob Fett.

I hope now to do a retro TV series. My take on shows and cartoons I grew up watching as a kid.

Expect tyo see Dukes of Hazzard, Battle of the Planets, GI Joe, Smurfs, He-man, Transformers, The Mighty Hercules and possibly even Tales by the Riverbank with Hammy Hamster and his pals.

You know I love this one--just the emotion--the fact that it's the scene not from the film, but as you saw it, with Leia's hand on Han's chest, their eyes locked (and Chewbacca howling pitifully...)... So much emotion here (and that's one of the things that really makes this piece--their longing, the threat behind in the form of Vader and Fett--it all goes together to make it a superb capture of the heart of this moment!

oh man, this is probably my favorite scene from all 6 movies! The color and composition is excellent! And now we go to the judges: |10| |10| |10| lol. Great work.

This was a cool scene especially when I first saw it as a kid. I had no idea what Carbon Freezing was. I kept asking my dad "is Han dead?" It was a great cliffhanger ending.

Yeah, the best things the eighties ever gave us were all those toy-related cartoons. Who cares if they were just animated commercials, they were great! The only ones I can think of that failed to have an extensive toy line are Inspector Gadget and Galaxy High. Are you planning to do any art on those?

Back to the main art, I can see why this is your personal favorite. It's the best scene in The Empire strikes back with the best music cue in all 6 films!

What about My Little Pony, Puff the Magic Dragon, and such coolness?

Did they even have cartoons for those things? Don't tell anyone but when there was nothing on I would sometimes watch Strawberry Shortcake, and I'd enjoy it. I'll still smell the dolls at the toy store when no one's looking? Remember our secret shhhh.

I won't tell *wink*... I liked the way her horsy smelled... Yesh they did have cartoons for those... Puff was really weird, the episode I remember the most is this one with a little boy that would talk so Puff took the soul out of his body and put it in a paperdoll and the boy talked when he was a paperdoll... It was a very strange show...

Pssst... I have a "My Little Pony" poster hanging up next to a Darth Vader one...
