Description 'The grandfather clock chimes a warning.
Seven screams in twisted agony.
The death of his twin.

Is it his own blood?
Or is it the blood of his brother?

Seven's always been an only child.
But then..

Who's the body floating down the river?"

~~ by Andrea writes a poem.

Art trade with ~Nearsblankpuzzle .
Her half: [link]

(btw, I have two more slots in my journal if anyone else wants to do a trade).

Her request: "Can you draw my character Seven ([link] ) screaming and covered in blood? And can the only things colored in be the blood and his eyes? Everything else can be shaded and such. And can he be on his knees with his hands near his face?"

I'll be honest and say I know nothing about ~Nearsblankpuzzle 's character. I took a bit of artistic liberty. Didn't even follow the instructions on what gets color. I'm a sucker for color, even if it's subtle.

This is yet another paintover cause that's wat i doo doo.

This is just gorgeous... I totally started to cry... You did capture Seven's agony.

I'll tell you a bit about him...

"Meet Seven, a boy with a perfect life. He had a mom, dad, younger sister and when the news of his mother being pregnant came along, he couldn't be any happier. Meet Cindy, a girl with a perfect life, a mom and dad that loved her and her pure talent in athleticism.

Seven and Cindy also had each other, best friends since the discovery of Seven's problem. They would regularly meet at a park almost in the Center of their Universe.

After a particularly unplanned meeting to have snacks at the Center of The Universe, the part ways and tread the journey home.

Neither of them returned the same.

Seven came home to find his usually lively home quiet, all the lights out. 'Mom? Dad?' he called only to have the silence respond. He searched most of the house only to open the kitchen door and find his mother lying on the floor, her head busted open and her stomach cut. Next to her on the ground was his father, his glasses askew, his neck slit and in a sense that there was a struggle. He quickly left the kitchen, bloody footprints marking themselves with every step he took. He needed to find June, for June was his younger, carefree sister. He found her in her play pin, but was too scared to look inside it.

He called the police not moments before. He was frightened, confused for his family, confused for himself.

'Confused for himself'? Why would he 'confused for himself'?

Well, Seven had a secret, a secret only him, Cindy and his parents knew. Seven's eyes had always been called 'magnificent' to anyone who stopped to look at them. His left eye was a brilliant green and his right was a pale blue. Nothing is perfect, as you know. These eyes, even as colorful as they are, could see none. All he ever saw was black, white and everything in between. So, it must have been confusing for his to be able to see the red in the blood, but only in the blood.

Seven's story of trauma ties in with the story of his best friend Cindy, who had been hanging out with Seven before her nightmare began.

She had always been athletic, a born runner. They parted ways after their meeting at the park they use to play at when they were younger. As to that, she took her usual short-cut home, since she lived rather far. She was walking down a passageway between two buildings (so narrow that it was impossible for both of them to walk side by side in it) when she started hearing footsteps behind her. She whistled a secret code, thinking it was Seven (and if it was Seven, he would've whistled back the code in reverse), but no return came. She quickened her pace, the footsteps following suit. She was panicking inside her head and began to run, only to have someone heavy push her down in the passageway. Now, I won't get detailed here, but Cindy lost her virginity to a stranger, who, in the process of wanting to leave her dead, gave her a head trauma that screwed up her memory and completely messed up her legs, having to be confined to a wheelchair and regular leg therapy appointments in her future. Cindy also claims that their was an accomplice of the sort, seeing that their was a third person in the passageway, but there was is no proof to confirm what she saw.

Now, the actual story begins 5 years later, around the time of Seven's 17th birthday. A murderer arises, killing people through their worst and most haunting fears and where the protagonists believe the murderer is connected to the deaths of Seven's family and Cindy's innocence. The pieces of this mystery start falling into place, but when Cindy begins to see things, 'visions' in her dreams while Seven starts noticing things that were practically obvious, the puzzle breaks and the person behind it all is revealed."

Haha. I just copied and pasted a summary I had 'cause it would be too boring just to read me drabble.

Summary, Fear and characters copyright by me. Please don't steal.

I'm glad I did a decent job even though I didn't know the history.

I love crazy characters. My parents fear I'm suicidal or mental, because I read so many books with psychos in them and depressing topics. Haha

Nearsblankpuzzle In reply to danzr4ever [2009-07-17 22:49:44 +0000 UTC]

It's fine that you didn't know the history, which will make people seeing this wonder, "Why is he screaming? Why is he covered in blood? Why are his eyes funky colors?"

Heehee, I love crazy characters as well, but fashioned Seven after myself, but then he became more like me 'cause in 8th grade I found out I was colorblind, and I had created Seven in 7th grade. Haha.

Anyways, thank you very much for this! (And, if you don't mind, your lovely picture's now my desktop wallpaper. )

Creepy expresions are the way to go! Nearsblankpuzzle's brief character description on her drawing of her own character she said he was crazy. We'll fortunately (or unfortunately?) for her, for the past two weeks I've been a 'read depressing books' kick. And these books are full of mental illnesses, abuse, disabilities and murder. Lots of craaazzy people.
