Description
Although my friend (in the middle) is a drummer in real life, she’s not currently in a band. So as a birthday present for her, I made her Macross pilot here perform double duty as a member of a band in my Macross universe. This is the artwork for the fictional band’s album. The members are Chad the bassist, Spendlove the drummer, and D the lead singer.

I had a grand idea to use Poser to put them in an outdoor setting with industrial buildings in the BG, like a ‘90s band photograph, but failed at assembling a background. So I brought them into 3ds max, used a pre-made interior, and added some rim lights to the figures. Band name and album title (which are both private gags that I’ve omitted from this version of the pic) were placed vertically and to the right.
