(Page 1)This is a comic I'm doing entirely out of my journal. Yes, I have a journal that I actually WRITE in. Yay analog literature.
It's called "Love, Anonymous". It's about a transvestite kid who lost just about everything when he came clean to his friends and family. One day, he gets an anonymous email from someone who claims to know him. The email is filled with the wonderful words of acceptance he longed to hear from his loved ones, and nothing more. In a daze, he types a reply, asking the name of the sender, only to find another email within his inbox telling him of how loved he is.
It's more or less therapy / a practice comic until I start doing the art for my friend Richu's story. I'll keep uploading them only if you guys promise to keep reading them. ^_~

I don't particularly want it to be this way, and I'm sure you're not going to go in this direction.. but if I were this kid, I'd be worried about having a stalker on my hands.
An even darker path would be this "someone" that knows him/her is someone who is fucking with them that knows his/her secret.

I'm glad others can relate. It's a very loose translation of my life to paper, really. My family accepts me, as do my friends. But sometimes it gets hard, ESPECIALLY at the start. Coming out about being gay is one thing. Wearing womens' clothes in public and around your loved ones it another thing altogether, and it's VERY awkward at first.

Aww, I appreciate the take on it. I had thought it'd be original, yet sort of ugly. I mean, the photoshop work right on top of the lined paper is pretty heavy - it really looks half-assed. Then again, the whole comic is half-assed, as I draw it out of boredom. I'm really hoping the message outweighs the image quality. So far so good, it seems!
