That's correct! It's an alternate timeline where living dead are rising and the war goes to a sudden change of pace. The comic will see the russians as protagonists. The idea is not mine but taken from a roleplaying game called "Sine Requie".

niiice, yea i kinda like the idea of old enemies stop fighting, and have a truce interms of survival ^^ cant wait to see it... *imagines D-da and an outbreak of zombies* thats messed up... oh and do the zombies sprint, or move at that "omg im crippled" pase?

it depends on the type.The most common moves only slowly especially if not freshly dead. Some of them retains enough intelligence to be able to use simple devices and run. All of them crave for living flesh.
