Okay, here come a complete pic of all Kals together with completed redesigns. I'm still far from perfect, but at least I'm improving a bit... enjoyKal (c) me.

Ever thought about continuing with this idea, I read your synopsis and it seems like a pretty good idea why did you stop.

Because I didn't stop^^ I actually finished the first book and published it around 1 years ago now, and I'm currently working on the second one. The reason I stopped posting drawings and news about it here are:
1) I got myself a willing illustrator who is much more talented than I am, so no need to draw them myself anymore; and while I initially did post the illustrations he did here, I stopped because I felt it was a bit, you know... dishonest toward him.
2) The book is in french (no official english translation exists... yet), so promoting it on DevianArt (where I tend to communicate mostly with english-speaking people) now had a rather limited interest. I do have a Facebook page about it, though.
So yeah, if that can reassure you, the project is still alive and actually going rather well^^ I recently reached 230 pages on the second book.

Well, the paper version obviously can only be found in France; a kindle version can be bought on Amazon here: www.amazon.fr/Kals-1-Eclosion-β¦
The title is "Kals Book 1: Eclosion". As I said, though, it's in French, so unless you can understand that language (or don't mind using a translator at all time while reading), that might be problematic. Still, thank you for being interested in it^^ I appreciate a lot.

One last question if your book does get a English translation will it be posted on DeviantArt? If not will it be available on iBook.

I don't know yet; I tried making an english translation myself once, and it didn't exactly work out. But I can warn you if an english version ever become available^^

Well, they are not exactly bad, but they remain quite mediocre compared to most DA artists. I wouldn't be able to make proprer comics with this.

yep, the blonde one is Luc (though he isn't really blonde; it's a complicated story^^'). And the assassin girl (Tenebra) is the one with purple hair and black clothes.
