Description
Katya Rojarus is the sniper for Viper Squad and a second generation genetically modified human. Her parents were devoted military careerists and covert operations experts serving the Federation of Eastern European Republics. As part of their service, the elder Rojarus soldiers underwent extensive genetic modifications that imbued them with both tactical and cosmetic enhancements after a lengthy and expensive process. The project reached completion when reproductive cells were harvested from the two elder Rojarus operators to be combined in order to produce a child that would retain all of the genetic enhancements bestowed on its parents without the immense cost.

Katya's parents groomed her for service in the most elite units of the FEER, but all of the care taken by the Federation scientists was undone when Katya demonstrated psionic affinity, a trait absent in both her parents, during routine testing. In accordance with the SHIELD treaty, Katya's psionic talents meant she had to be redirected into the multi-national Guardian program, completely negating the decades of work invested by FEER overnight.

Though she remains somewhat faithful to her Russian ancestry, Katya has fully devoted herself to the Guardian program and her squad especially. Her upbringing makes her highly professional on the battlefield, but the added freedom she discovered after being moved up from FEER gave her a bit of a wild streak that manifests in long nights out when she's off duty.
