I love his expression. It's strange, though, I have a character I designed who has blackish hair and yellow eyes, and I draw him with intense expressions a lot. I recently gave him a hairstyle that was kind of like this.

Oh hey, how do you like Painter? I was thinking of buying a copy when I finally upgrade my computer (I'm running two OS's behind). It doesn't seem too ridiculously priced and I've heard line art is easier than in Photoshop.

Painter's really fun and I love the look of the effects, but I'm still nowhere near used to it, and I haven't really learned all there is to know yet so I can't really give an accurate comparison. XD
line-art in Painter does feel more natural with the right tools. I still prefer Photoshop overall when starting out with a piece because it's easier for me to use (and doesn't take up as much memory on my computer), and then I love Painter for the blending and touching up. Both programs are great complements for each other.
