Taken July 12, 2007.Photo and Makeup all done by me.
The Star Goddess is sometimes referred to as "Mother Night", and since the entire shoot was "star" oriented, I figured it'd be a nice name.
I took this just to show you the makeup. I had A LOT of fun doing it. I had it in my head for so long that I just had to get it out. I know it's not superb or anything, but I like it.
Except for this picture, the rest of this shoot was inspired by the song "Gutter Glitter" by Switchblade Symphony. It's been a favorite of mine lately and each photo is based on a part of the lyrics from the song.

It's not fancy makeup or anything. All I used was very fine glitter that you can find at the craft store. Same with the rhinestones and star stickers, of course.

That's gorgeous work. Really beautiful. I just did a heavy glitter look, and my eyes are still hating me for it. Did you keep it on long?

I kept it on for about four, maybe five hours. That's about it. I was afraid it would all get into my eye, because the glitter was VERY fine. I made sure to use eye drops and everything after I washed it off.

I love the contrast of the red of the light blue and the black and everything is just wow.
