A friend of mine hasn't had a very good week and has been kinda down lately so I wanted to do something to cheer her up. I appologize for the rushed-ness of it towards the end... I was hoping it wasn't going to end up taking all night but it still did ~ but I think it was still worth it.Comes from a random conversation about how awesome a Zelda game would be if Link went darkside and Zelda had to save her own kingdom for once. lol, and Link along with it. But Zelda vs. Dark link would be such an epic fight!! The music alone would be win.
Zelda was fun but I still don't like Dark Link... but thats what I get for not taking the time to find a reference.
... and yes Zelda had a Master sword of Sephirothic lengths, so sue me

Just saw this again for the first time in a while since I'm kind of sick of visiting dA. I think I will wind up writing this as a part of a fanfict...The pieces are beginning to line up for it, and I'm looking forward to linking all the theories together and maybe tying in the two worlds. I'll tell you more later if you message me about it :] or if you just wanna hear it.
Even now I'm still on my huge Zelda kick xD

lol - well if you do let me know~ I think it would be an very interesting perspective and a fun twist in teh Zelda verse. (after all, Zelda is slowly becoming less and less of a damsel in distress each new Zelda game)

the only thing I have to really say is that it seems like zelda's butt is too far up in the air. Not that I'm one to judge because I wouldn't dare attempt this scale of epic.

1 purple rupee on Dark Link. As awesome as Zelda might be, Dark Link can only be defeated by Link.
Yeah... That's a theory I've been poking at. With all the games, there's never one where the princess has to save her hero. With how many games Zelda and Peach have been kidnapped in, and have relied on Link, Mario, and Luigi to rescue them, Zelda and Peach never get a lot of action, and they both kick a--! And honestly, without all the upgrades, Link, Mario, and Luigi would be... normal. They don't have built in magic like Zelda and Peach. I am really going to have to work on that story idea I had though... based around OoT and MM... Link gets captured and all the ladies of Hyrule band together to save him. (Come on. He has at least three girls seriously crushing on him. Zelda, Ruto, and Malon.)

OOO I love the shading in Zelda! Her hair has so much depth and I love her outfit. That would be a fun one to make.....*ponders cosplay possibilities* got to love how the animethon I'm not sure I'll be attending or not is the one where I have like 3 or 4 different cosplay ideas. *sigh* such is life lol
But enough about me. Awesome picture and hell yeah that would be a great battle. I can't really tell that you really rushed it, The colouring and shading still looks great and not cheeped out on. Well done in deed. ^^

Thank you ^^ Her Twilight Princess outfit is really spiffy and the details would be really hard to do (then again we all know you love a challenge). I hear you - I've got a handful of ideas I'd like to try too but I'm not sure if I'll have the time, or if I'll be able to get the time off for animethon. I think/hope so - especially if I'm willing to work the long weekend before ^.~
