Nice framing on this, and the blue doesn’t really bother me that much.

I think you misunderstood me. By "framing" I meant how you chose to point the camera so that the sweep of the ground rises up on the right to meet the clouds and forms a frame of sorts around the central landscape. You did a good job of showing off the natural contours of the land here.

Framing is actually one of the harder aspects to learn in photography. One thing I was told was to forget about whatever it is I was trying to take a picture of and just concentrate on what it looked like through the lens. In other words, don’t photograph the thing, photograph the scene, and when you’re looking throught the viewfinder, really look at what’s happening in the scene - where do the lines go? Where is the horizon? Are there extraneous things that you can eliminate by moving the camera a little to the left, or right, or up or down? Are there things in the scene that will help guide the viewer’s eye towards what I want them to see? It takes a lot of practise (and lord knows I’m still learning it myself), but you’ve got a good eye for it, especially in your landscapes.

Wow!
I wuv it.
You take that from the top of bulbarrow!?
Looks like you did.
Ive tried to do that lots of times, just my camera usually runs outta juice right when i have the wonderous scene to capture, either that or like the wind or rain distorts the images.
But yes, great shot dani!
T'is beautiful, we're very lucky to live right within these sights.
