The pioneers ofΒ Β European descent Β to my area of California used a plank road Β to travel between San Diego, California to Arizona. There are still pieces of it near the freeway. Historical remnants. I had no idea Lithuania had a desert that looked so similar to the United States of America's Southwest. Wow! We average less than an inch of rain annually, and the temperature in August is over 100ΒΊF where I am. The ancient native Americans here made huge petroglyphs of rocks that can be seen by plane of spiders and other Β creatures.

Wasn't hard to recognize this was Lithuania :3 we always used to visit the Curonian Spit on summer holidays, it sure is a nice place :3

ur pictures are pretty and inspirational , they remind me of the song Hotel California by the Eagles-
Desert high way , cool wind , warm smell of colitas
interesting fact; the song hotel california is a homage for a old abandoned hotel in california which in 1969 was converted to a church of satan by anton levay.
if you listen to the lyric in hotel california look for "wake you up in the middle of the night just to hear them say" play it backwards and it sez " yeah satan hears it he had me beleive"
