I had an idea for what the one and only Mr. Universe album was like. He made a mini rock opera called The Intergalactic Rock Star which took up the entirety of side two of the original Vinyl LP and cassette release. However, he spent so much time making sure the story made sense and the songs were still good that he needed to pad side one with two covers. The covers were a hard rock version of Across the Universe and a serviceable (yet quite redundant) cover of Moonage Daydream. Let Me Drive my Van (into your Heart) and What can I do for You (the latter of which Rose Quartz altered the lyrics for) were both on side one and I'm just a Comet was the final song (and thus the summation) of the Intergalatic Rock Star rock opera.
Once Greg rejected the spotlight, all promotions of Mr. Universe were cancelled and the album died a sudden death with the album falling into bargain bins. However, this likely happened in the 1990-91 area. Even if Mr. Universe had gotten famous, he would be a has been by the time he released his second album since Nirvana and the rise of Grunge would have swept him into irrelevance.
