This sketch I kept for the longest time, waiting for the artist to finish the final, approved drawing of the Murana/Llydia crossover. This was a good lesson to me to make sure I got the description perfectly understandable to the artist. Sometimes language barriers exist when you commission someone, other times you just don't describe what you want well enough. This was one of those times where I described the wolf and dragon having a 'bonding' moment that was intimate, yet friendly. Well, other than describing what the overall pose of the two was going to be, the artist cued off on intimate and gave me something COMPLETELY different than what I had in my head. May it be a lesson other commissioners learn from: Never leave anything to chance!
