Detention or something else ...
This is my first published render with a Gen3 figure. Did some testing and ended up with this render.
Nothing special, enjoy anyway
Iray shaders for everything in the scene.
Rendered in Daz Studio 4.8.0.59 with IRay, postwork in photoshop (color corrections, sharpening, added frame, soft light overlay of bloom render)
Render time 2 times 15 minutes on a 970GTX (1250 iterations each). A normal render and one with bloom filter enabled.
Bluish environment texture set to 0.5 strength. One mesh light from left front and one from right back.

I have a GTX 960 4GB + 8GB + FX 83205, only it takes a lot to render even at lower resolutions, please give me any advice on what the best configuration to render the iray? Thank you!

I take a doubt, I am rendering to 1150x1300 only it takes more than 10 minutes just to start render, tell me how you configure your iray to render? Example: What is the sample configuration and etc....

So do you like the G3? I'm finding that it can be kind of...quirky...as far as how clothing fits to it and such, but all in all the figure works very well, especially in it's posing.
Yours here looks very nice as well, though the expression is a little ambiguous. Nicely done with the outfit. It's a V4 as I recall, so nicely done fitting it so well. I'm sure that detention will be full for...well...forever.

I haven't made up my mind yet. Still experimenting a lot. What I can say is that I like Gen3 a lot more than Gen1 or Gen2. I might give the figure a chance, but I probably wnon't give up on V4.
Posing Gen3 is a bit different. More options but also more complicated or maybe I am just not accustomed to it yet.Β
Clothes fitting is about the same as for V4. I use deformers for problematic areas like breasts.
